Rick has spent 34 years in technology sales, marketing, and project management, with the last 12 dedicated exclusively to the public safety market. His career has evolved from office equipment to wireless communications to enterprise computing — giving him a complete picture of how solutions integrate in real-world deployments.

Since co-founding Granitec in 2016, Rick has focused on the specific challenges law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies face when deploying mobile technology in vehicles and field environments. That specialization means recommendations built on actual use cases, not generic specs.

A University of Kentucky graduate with deep roots in the communities KRTS serves, Rick works directly with agencies to specify, configure, and deploy rugged computing built for the demands of the job.

Rob brings over 25 years of public sector technology experience to KRTS. After a quarter-century managing technology projects for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Office of Technology, he knows the procurement realities, budget constraints, and mission-critical demands public agencies face.

Following his retirement from state service in 2007, Rob returned to the technology sector in sales and consulting roles before co-founding Granitec in 2016. His background working inside Kentucky state government gives him unique insight into how agencies evaluate vendors and make purchasing decisions.

A lifelong Kentuckian from Shelby County and University of Kentucky graduate, Rob focuses on building lasting relationships with the public safety organizations he serves.
